How to Apply Your UV Transfers

Follow these simple steps for a flawless, permanent, scratch-resistant finish every time.

    Prep Your Surface

    Ensure the surface of your item is completely clean, dry, and free from any oils, dust, or fingerprints. We highly recommend wiping it down with isopropyl alcohol and letting it dry completely before proceeding.

    Squeegee & Peel

    Before peeling, place the transfer design-side up on a hard surface and run a squeegee or plastic card firmly over the graphic. Then, slowly peel the clear carrier sheet away from the white backing. Your graphic should stick entirely to the clear transfer tape.

    Position & Apply

    Carefully line up your design on your target surface. Take your time: the adhesive is extremely strong and permanent the moment it touches down. Once positioned, press it down firmly starting from the center and working your way outward.

    Burnish the Design

    Rub the design firmly with your thumbs, a squeegee, or a microfiber cloth. Pay special attention to fine details and delicate edges to guarantee a 100% solid bond to the surface.

    Peel the Transfer Tape

    Slowly peel the clear transfer tape back at a sharp angle (flat against the surface is best). Go slow to ensure every part of the design stays adhered. If any part lifts, simply lay the tape back down, rub firmly again, and resume peeling.

💡 Pro Tip for Long Lasting Results

While your UV transfer is ready for immediate use, the adhesive continues to cure over the next 24 hours. We recommend waiting a full day before washing your item. To keep your graphics looking vibrant for years, always hand wash your finished products—avoid the dishwasher and microwave!
