How to Apply PermaStick™ UV DTF Transfers
Step 1: Clean the Surface
Wipe the application area with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, oils, dust, and fingerprints. Allow the surface to dry completely.
Step 2: Pre-Squeegee the Transfer
Place the transfer face down with the white backing facing upward. Using a squeegee or plastic card, apply firm pressure across the entire design several times.
Step 3: Remove the Backing Paper
Slowly peel the clear carrier film away from the backing paper. If any small details remain attached to the paper, reapply pressure and try again.
Step 4: Position Your Design
Carefully align your transfer on the surface. Because PermaStick™ transfers create a permanent bond, accurate placement is important.
Step 5: Apply Firm Pressure
Starting from the center and working outward, press firmly to remove air bubbles and ensure complete adhesion.
Step 6: Remove the Carrier Film
Slowly peel away the clear carrier sheet to reveal your finished transfer and enjoy a durable, professional-quality result.

Artwork & File Prep Guidelines
To ensure the highest print quality and prevent production delays, please prepare your design files using the specifications below:
- Format: PNG format only. Do not mirror your artwork; upload it exactly as you want it to appear on the final product.
- Background: Must be entirely transparent. Any background color (including solid white blocks or bounding boxes) will print exactly as shown in your file.
- Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI at actual print size. Up-scaling a low-resolution web image (72 DPI) will result in blurry or pixelated edges.
- Fine Details: All lines, text, and independent design elements must be at least 0.02 inches (approx. 0.5mm / 1.5 pixels) thick. Lines that are too thin lack enough adhesive backing to transfer properly onto surfaces.
- Gang Sheets: If you are splitting a file in half or packing multiple logos into one sheet, ensure your design elements do not overlap and fit entirely within the maximum print boundaries selected above.
